I'm The Most Normal One In The Family.

I am thankful for family who accepts a tank full of sugar like me. Especially for someone who thinks he's a Barbadian pop princess.

And oh yeah...even when I fart, I have to look cute and pose a bit. HAH! WERQ! ¡Trabaja!

The New Era

Introducing: an updated version of me.

Okay, I lied. It's the same me with more makeup on my face. I blame it on Nicki Minaj and the other trannies out there. But that does NOT mean that I. myself, wants to be a transexual. I love and respect my GIRS out there but that is not my niche. I'm just a guy who is a full tank of sugar and is exploding with glamour, fashion, and extravaganza. Since you have last seen me in this blog, I have become more confident and aware that I am not most homosexuals. I'm just a tang-bang full of fashion.

You know, those special homosexuals that most gays don't really get or wouldn't want to know about. Dating-wise, it's been bleek except for the old perverts who always tend to get on me. No sir, I am not one of those typical, tan, tight-bodied, timid Gaysians. But the men I have met in the past few months have been okay. They are confident enough to talk to someone who's a tank full of sugar. Although, I get bored with them easily. I guess it's my fault. I'm holding out on one particular asshole. God, why do the pretty girls tend to go for the assholes?

In other aspects in my life, I have been more aware about friendship too. I have been selective with people in my life. I have learned not to trust too easily and to determine who is an acquaintance and who is more of a friend. I am also glad that people have resurfaced back in my life and have brought new people with them. One particular is a special friend from New Jersey. No she is not a housewife. And I have two great girls I have known since I was a chubby straight boy. Yes, I was straight for a period in my life. And of course, work is work. Because you see these people almost 5 days a week, doesn't mean you can make genuine friendships with them. There is a handful that I would consider a friend through connective threads and interests.

What else can I talk about? Hmm..I still love my RiRi and my shoulderpads. I suppose my fashion aesthetic hasn't changed as much. My motto is still: "If it's tight, then girl, you got it right." I'm still rocking the black and leather and I have been this whole summer. I have been broke becasue of Balmain. I still need to invest in Alexander McQueen items! Oh and I guess I have changed my hair at least 8 times since you have seen me. Different cuts, different color, bowl cut, a-symmetrical, blonde, streaks, black streaks, red, etc. Is it time for a weave?? I'll let Rihanna determine that! LOL!!!!

I guess you can say: I'm at my happiest this entire year so far. LEt's hope I end this year even happier!

Oh and Emily...that is all.

The Unsung Hero of Vogue.

Most of my readers know Anna Wintour. And most would have watched the Devil Wears Prada and how both women (Miranda Pirestly & Wintour) are the power of the magazine. The diety. But what about the rest of the people? The Nigels? Sally Singer works for Vogue and believe she is the text backbone of the magazine. She inspires, she provokes thought and she also pisses people off. This video contains Sally being interviewed in the Commonwealth Club and she breaks down everything that happens in Vogue. The interview is VERY inspirational. She has really broke it down to where anyone can understand how Vogue magazine works. There are so many good quotes I am definitely going to live by but one just stood out because I can definitely relate when I was beginning to learn about myself.

The video shows the first ten minutes but I suggest you click on the "WATCH FULL PROGRAM" button on the screen. You can skip and select scenes for those who have a time crunch! Trust me, it'll open your eyes and maybe even respect this buisness.

"Fashion is about, fashion and personal style is not about excluding people, it's about taking people who feel like they're on the downside (sic) and giving them tools by which they can project another self.... freedom or just the ability to change.

You look at Marc Jacobs, you look at Alber Elbaz, you look at the top people working in the business... these are not people who grew up comfortable in themselves. These people who realized early on that if they dressed a certain way, they could project another image to the world. An image that might be true to them... it allowed them a fabulosity that the world was denying them. If you look great your whole life, wear whatever. Who cares, you know? Fashion is about allowing you to be someone that you think you can create.
It's so many more tools. I never understood why people find it to be such an imposition in their lives. It should be a pleasurable thing to do."

I Pray To The Fashion Gods.

A few days ago, I told my friend that I will kneel, put on my Balmain and pray to fashion heaven and to the saints like Gianni and Poiret so he may be successful in his trip.

I believe heaven will be a place you want it to be. If that's the case, I will die in Dior Haute Couture (meaning I will have a long ass fashion life) and I will be welcomed into the gates, which will look like a VH1 Divas special. Riri, Gaga, Mimi and all the Divas will be there...yes including WhitWhit. And of course, Beyonce will sing Halo while she puts on my....you guessed it....halo. And Tyra comes out and puts my huge Victoria's Secret angel wings on and I strut my shit into the pearly gates, hanging out with Gianni, Yves, and Coco.

Anyways, a glimpse of a fashion angel can be seen in the Alexander McQueen F/W '07 show. I guess that's how I want to float into the sky. P.S. McQueen will never fail to make me cry and appreciate fashion not as materialistic but wearable art and self-expression.

Say No To The Multi-Tasking Model. Just Pose And Look Sexy.

Remember MTV's "House of Style"? Remember how monotonous Cindy Crawford was? When I was younger, the only person who had able was my uncle and my grandma who lived across the street. I was knew fashion from the younger days having a beauty queen grandma who lived with my gay uncle. Lots of blowed-out bangs, Gianni Versace, and wine-colored turtlenecks. I wouls always stay with my grandma and watch "House of Style" while she tended to her garden. That sounds like every gay boy's life in the 90's.

My favorite segment of the show was Mike Campbell (a D&G favorite around the '96-'96 era) and his quirky interviews with male supermodels like Mark Van Der Loo, Alex Lundqvist, Gelati, and Jason Lewis (you may know him as Smith Jerrod from "Sex & The City"). Remember fashion's peak?! STYLE! Oh, how I miss it...

LOVE LOVE LOVE I WANT YOUR LOVE!

If you have not yet seen Lady Gaga's video for "Bad Romance", then you live under a rock! It's one of the best videos I've seen ever because it incorporates fashion which heightens the song's popularity. This has not been accomplished since George Michael's collaboration with 1990's SUPERMODELS and Thierry Mugler and Madonna's "Vogue". Watch the video while I show you a play by play on it's fashion! LOL!

P.S. Her sylist, (who is fashionably credible) Nicola Formichetti, is amazing.

The Gay Physique: Every Hetro Envies Us.

Every hetrosexual person envies a gay man's body. We know that although personality is important in the world of dating, physicality is also.

The masculine side: There are two paths a gay man can go physically: ultra-masculine and ultra-feminine. David Beckham, Brad Pitt...these men are definitely influenced by gay culture. You can tell they take care of their bodies in the gym. And gay men built the gym. HAHA! Come on, because of gay men, the gym has been popularized since the 1970's. And if you see guys in straight clubs who sport Ed Hardy on their hard bodies acting machismo, they can definitely blend in at a gay club also. Ironic huh since these guys are usually the homophobes. I see straight gym bunnies looking like total gay guys with thier dye jobs and gem-studded shirts.

The femme side: Women love befriending the skinny gay. Because they envy their skinny bodies and wish they had the same slender silhouette. This is the path I can definitely relate. These gays are the type who follow the feminine trends and fashion. And yes, I have a big girl following. I collect "Alternative Lifestyle Companions" (better than saying fag hag) like Pokemon cards. I have different types and all are FIERCE!

Basically, the physical upkeep is important because gay people are vain and we always try to beat the next bitch next to us..all the time. It's always a competition out there. America's Next Top Model, American Gladiators...same GAY CONCEPT!

Fall Is Finally Here And I'm Finally On The Twitter-verse.

I am very happy to know that Fall is finally here. It's finally raining in the streets of L.A. I love this weather. I stashed my summer clothes in the darkest part of my closet and pulled out all the thick knits, scarves, jackets, and dark clothes. What am I saying? I always wear dark clothing but in this season, it gets more interesting. As much as I love this season, I'm kind of hoping that it can flash 6 months so I can purchase something from Alexander McQueen's S/S '10 collection, "Plato's Atlantis". The collection is whimsical' the prints are AMAZING and the shoes are to die for. No need to see and adore any other collection. This is hands down the important collection for the upcoming season. Just check out Karlie Kloss working the sea nymph aesthetic.

Anyways, this season makes me feel more alive. I find more energy and romance in these times. The atmosphere of L.A. even feels more bearable. It's my rebirth. I was finally convinced to join Twitter. For the past year, people eg me to sign up for one because they would love to see me rant about my cynical, sarcastic, fabuleux, and over-the-top life. I was also informed that it can boost my blog's traffic. I really want to spread this blog. I know there's a lot of fashion blogs out there. And there's a lot of GAYSIANS who blog about fashion. But I think my point of view is better. I mean...come on....I'm way cuter.

Oh...SO FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER. i promise, I will make your day. Click on my cute photo!

UPDATE!: RIHANNA'S COMING BACK! THERE'S A RELEASE DATE!! EXCITED!!!!!

RiRi Redeux.

I guess you can say that people recognize me or talk to me because of my hair. Since I chopped off my shag and opted for a more throwback meets alienesque cut (which is a definite fusion between Rihanna, Prince, and an Alien), I get more attention. And hate to admit, doppelgangers. But the curly Rihanna fro was too much of an upkeep and I was going to spend money this weekend to get a weave to have a more fuller and wavier Prince look. Time to save money! Recessionista, remember?

I got my hair straightened and it's more sleeker and easier to maintain. It will take a lot to get use to but I'll manage. I'll survive.

Smile With Your Drunk Eyes.

Every supermodel has a signature look and pose. Tyra has the over the shoulder. Kate has the hungry coke face. I guess you can say I adopted those two looks and fused them together. I have the coked out over the shoulder drunk face. Just look at me exude fierce eyes sex appeal while modeling a jug of Tampico with Vaaka Vodka. Yummy.

I am SO Lindsay Lohan. Where are my black leggings?!

Recessionista Loves Decades.

I never feel really bad when I spend money on couture. Especially if it's 80% off of the retail price. When I do save money, I grow some balls and go to the vintage couture shop known as DecadesTwo, a shop notably attended by power stylist, Rachel Zoe. Decades is now opening in the East Coast.

They’ve acquired a small space above Soho’s Kiki de Montparnasse and collected 2000 pieces of designer clothes, jewelry, bags and shoes to sell to (new)vintage hungry New Yorkers.

The store will be there from May 14th to 17th but there’s one small catch, for the first few days it’s only open to their already loyal clients and invited guests. The public may shop on the last day, but who knows how much of the Marc/Chloe/Balenciaga/Chanel/Prada stash will be left by then - especially since loads of it will be priced about 80% below retail.

Rachel Zoe’s donated a good chunk of her closet and a portion of the profits will help a Detroit based charity.

Fingers crossed for Balenciaga SS08 florals

Doppelganger.

What?! Who ARE you?!!
