I'm A New Woman Now...

The reason I haven't updated lately is because I have been busy. Ok..that's not the only reason. I also got lazy, I have to deal with stress emotionally, personally, and physically and blogging about it is not my way to relieve things. I finally can say that things have changed and I feel better now. I have surrounded myself with great people as of late and weeded out the people who can anchor me down or slow my personal growth.

Fashion Updates: I ordered another Balmain jacket. yeah yeah...One is enough but I need one in black. And one from the Fall/Winter collection. Today is the start of fall and it's 68 degrees. That's pretty crisp for Los Angeles weather. So I pulled out my Viktor & Rolf shirt and Dolce&Gabanna tartan bow tie out of my archived closet and sported it today. Parisian chic is my aesthetic for this season. Think Emmanuelle Alt and Francoise Hardy as an inspiration. A good friend, Kayla opened my eyes to a Balenciaga high heel boot that is subtle enough for me to wear. I try my best to stay androdgynous without wearing women's shoes but this one is a good one to wear. And of course, my fashion icon Rihanna will always be an inspiration.

Personal Updates: I'm skinny. Okay that is not an update. Duh. I'm going to be a fairy godmother. My cousin is going to pop out a bundle of joy and I AM VERY EXCITED! My own living doll HAHA! I will do my best to inspire the child in every aspect, not only fashion-wise. I already have a cute outfit to wear for the baby christening. Think RUFFLES! My other cousin also had a baby and it's the cutest thing ever! I need to use these children to find me a man. Gaybies are the newest accesory to a gay man's life!

That is basically the important shit in my life right now. Very blessed right now. Time for some slideshows!

It was a Safari theme and I was the only ho to be festive. Ugh Leave it to me to upstage the preggo lady. So Carrie Bradshaw of me.

Temporary Insanity.

Sorry people. I haven't updated in a while. I'm sure I lost my THREE fans. LOL!

I would want to blame my hiatus on a busy summer, rehab perhaps, or maybe a spontaneous trip to Europe where I left all my belongings and backpacked for months. I just got lazy. And busy too. Been going on random road trips with friends and trying to enjy the sumer life. Honestly, I hate summer. I am happy again since I am stocking up on Fall and Winter clothes. HOORAY! Jackets! Laying! Fur!

I already made my crazy winter purchases. One of many I need for this season. I bought myself a Missoni shawl cardigan. Now I can look like Sasha Pivovarova. I also need ANTHER Balmain jacket for THIS season. More pointed shoulders.

I am offended that a lady said I wore knockoff. Sorry honey, just because I'm a simple guy doesn't mean I can't have luxuries that you can never obtain. But I did like her Gucci shoes. Twas on sale..that's why she copped them. Lucky her.

Okay. I'm just listening to Fleetwood Mac and enjoying my coffee on my lunch break. I promise you (and to myself) that Iwill update more often again.

I Don't Have A BFF. Just Friends Equally Special In Their Right.

We had to do a Lacoste-inspired photoshoot. Except I'm Tanya Dziahileva and my homegirl "Miss Tropicana" is Sean O'Pry.

Anyways, for the past few weeks, I went through so much with friends. I have to admit, I don't have too many friends because I tend to be guarded. A lot of acquaintances but not too many friends that I can be very vulnerable with. I'm difficult. I definitely consider a someone a friend when they have a good vibe and I feel comfortable spilling my personal life with them. And in return, I get the same. There was an instance recently when someone was very disrespectful with a friend and I had to protect them from getting super hood and "shank a ho". I always have that maternal (right?!) instinct to take care of them and relate emotionally. And to also keep them away from getting arrested.

Last weekend, a couple of friends (who I have known for more than 10 years) and I got into a car accident and one being emotionally vulnerable since she is going through a lot of stresses in life felt so overwhelmed, that I tried to distract her from problems with my weird sense of humor. Basically, I am always there for them. Making sure they're okay.

Just wanted to spill out something many people don't know. I can actually be a good friend. And if were friends, we're most likely going to be friends forever. CHEESY BUT TRUE!

Went to Long Beach Gay Pride on Sunday with my cousin. This basically sums up the whole day: Messy but we still look all kinds of cute.

Self Conscious Body Part Has Been Battled.

First of all, sorry for the delay in updating. I had to handle personal business that doesn't need to be blogged about.

Anyways...Everyone has a body part that they are self conscious of. As confident as I portray myself to be, I mask my least favorite body part to have a prettier illusion. That my friend is my forehead. As what Tyra Banks would say, "Five head". You can probably draw a map on my fivehead and when I was going through puberty, I had zits all over it looknig like you can connect the dots. My skin has cleared since then and yet I still felt disturbed by it. I just didn't want people to think that I has balding (which I'm not. I have a great head of hair that I take care of everyday). I did get hair cuts that mask my problem area and accentuated my face. and worked out for me. Basically, I got a-symmetrical bangs. HAHA!

Lately, I grew less conscious of it because people that I truly adroe has been rocking the fivehead. You know my divas: Tyra, Naomi, Beyonce, and especially my style icon, Rihanna. As of today, I stopped caring when I saw a recent picture of Alien Princess RiRi rocking a hairdo that is out of this world. Alien coiff as you may. I pretty much emulated the exact hairstyle and is sporting the five head at work. I already bumped into my co-worker who actually likes the look.

I can actually say it's a sigh of relief. I faced my personal fear.

If only Rihanna knew how much of an inspiration she has been when it comes to image and style. Well except for her nudie pics. I must say though...her ass looks amazing! WERQ IT OUT!

RiRi Redeux.

I guess you can say that people recognize me or talk to me because of my hair. Since I chopped off my shag and opted for a more throwback meets alienesque cut (which is a definite fusion between Rihanna, Prince, and an Alien), I get more attention. And hate to admit, doppelgangers. But the curly Rihanna fro was too much of an upkeep and I was going to spend money this weekend to get a weave to have a more fuller and wavier Prince look. Time to save money! Recessionista, remember?

I got my hair straightened and it's more sleeker and easier to maintain. It will take a lot to get use to but I'll manage. I'll survive.
